Are you hurting, feeling unwell or struggling to feel whole? We tend to spend a great deal of our energy and time trying to find our way to healthy and whole. What we forget is that the potential for health and wholeness is always inside of us. All we need to do is connect to it. That’s also, of course, the struggle we face, how to get and stay connected.
That’s where a cultivated connection to the Divine can become essential. The Divine is in us and all around us all of the time. Connecting to it really is as simple as reaching out and grabbing it, and as difficult as grabbing air sometimes.
Consider worry. When we worry, we create energy. That energy changes our vibration in the universe. It lowers our vibration. The energy of the Divine, collective source, spirit, your higher self, whatever you want to call it, vibrates at a very high frequency. So as we worry, and lower our vibration, we separate ourselves from our connection to the Divine healing we seek to relieve and are worried about.
Dr. Joe Dispenza talks a lot about pairing out meditation and intention with an elevated emotion. What he is talking about is bringing your awareness to an emotion with a high vibration, something that lifts your spirit up closer to the Divine. Kind of the opposite of worry. I personally like the emotion of gratitude for this because it is one that is easy for me to find. If that doesn’t work for you, try something else. I grabbed the below list off Dr. Joe’s site. As you can see, you have quite a few to choose from. In your meditation, try to pick 1 to 3 of the below concepts and emotions to focus on. Try to find an image of something, a memory, a wish, a movie, that brings that emotion to your mind, then allow it to enter your heart, soul and body. Instead of trying to hold it there, see if you can allow it to flow through and around you freely, leaving as it might, and then returning as easily as it left. I have realized that the harder I try to hold onto even an elevated emotion, the more anxious I get and the harder it is to maintain an elevated state. What to do next with that emotion is, well the harder part. The first part to healing though, is to get closer to the Devine energy source, and the first step to that, is learning to elevate our emotions so our vibration is higher and closer to the vibration o
